About
I’m Richard Eugene McCallum — writer, storyteller, and creator of REMStories.
My work explores the edges of belief and imagination, drawing on myth, scripture, history, and modern life. I’ve written across genres: novels, memoir, poetry, short stories, and songs. My recent focus is on “mythopoetic fiction” — stories that bring ancient themes into the present.
My Work
Books — from epic mythic novels like Satan’s Recruitment of Angelo Raguel to memoir pieces and modern parables.
Podcasts — conversations with “Mr. Roboto,” my AI collaborator, blending humor, theology, and storytelling craft.
Community — sharing stories that connect across faith traditions, literary genres, and digital frontiers.
My aim is simple: to tell stories that matter — stories that echo with memory, myth, and the struggle of the human soul.

Over the years, my work has been celebrated at book launches, writers’ gatherings, and community events. These moments remind me that storytelling is never solitary — it’s a conversation.
Today, REMStories bridges the traditional and the unexpected: an author at the podium, a writer in dialogue with AI, a voice mixing myth, faith, and satire, and a storyteller rooted in a place, yet reaching across the digital frontier.
Today, through REMStories, I bring together the timeless and the contemporary, creating stories that resonate across generations and platforms.
